For Thanksgivukkah, “Light One Candle” and other songs

ThanksgivukkahWith the confluence of Thanksgiving and Chanukah this year, it’s a good occasion not only to give thanks but to keep in mind those who stand up against oppression

As the saying goes, an awful lot of Jewish holidays can be summarized as, “They tried to kill us, we won, now let’s eat.” Chanukah certainly falls in that category.

It’s also time to sing.

Light One Candle, by Peter Yarrow

The Latke Song, by Debbie Friedman
